Pam Seals has 38 years of manufacturing experience. Pam was one of the original members hired at the Duffield facility, she was involved in hiring all the people that have worked at the Duffield site for the past 38 years. Pam has served as a regional resource to help union sites during contract negotiations. She been a key person at developing employee training programs at the site, such as apprenticeship programs and other employee required certification programs in the mining industry. Pam has worked with the local EHS team in developing effective EHS programs such as employee awareness training and required compliance training. She serves as a local resource for recruiting needs. She support others sites as a resource for recruiting and aides others developing training and development programs.

Pam’s group coordinates Komatsu Duffield’s annual angel tree drive where the whole plant supports local children during each Christmas season. She also coordinates an annual blood drive each year with the Marsh mobile. This year her team is also coordinating the support of the Hope House of Scott County by leading a donation drive. Her team has coordinated support for local girls and boys clubs. Her team also works to support local children with a backpack program given to children coming out of difficult situations.

Pam has served as a coach and mentor for other HR professionals in the business. She serves as a negotiating member during labor negotiations in Bluefield. She’s worked to develop state approved apprenticeship programs at the Duffield location. She coaches HR resources in other locations on conflict resolution, work rule application and development, talent pool assessments, training and testing programs.

Pam has worked at Duffield for years and has supported many current leaders in the business get to where they are today. She supports other regional sites and helps sites outside our region. She will do what it takes to accomplish the task. She is committed to the company and her desire to make the local site in Duffield successful is evident in how she approaches everything she does. She serves as a sounding board for other managers on difficult situations or when they need some advice.
