Speyside Bourbon Cooperage, Inc. is an offspring of Speyside Cooperage Ltd. which was founded in Scotland in 1947. Speyside currently operates two cooperages in Scotland and three in the U.S. The company is a part of a larger cooperage organization which is based in France, the Tonnellerie Francois Freres Group (TFF), a global cooperage company. Speyside Bourbon Cooperage produces bourbon barrels, marrying state-of-the-art technology with the ages old craft of coopering; this facility is arguably the most modern cooperage of its type in the world.
