Karie Castle was hired in 2021 to join our Environmental Health and Safety team. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in environmental health from ETSU and served as a Laboratory Manager of a wastewater treatment plant in Northeast Tennessee and prior to that position she served as a lab analyst for an environmental monitoring company based out of Norton, Virginia.

Karie was recently promoted in 2024 into a management position as she has led her team to yield impressive safety and environmental achievements. This has translated into achieving some impressive outcomes at both of our Virginia facilities.

I am honored to be recognized as an honoree for the Outstanding Woman in Manufacturing Award for 2025. This recognition is not only a reflection of my work, but a testament to the strength and resilience of women in this industry.
