Imogene Crockett is said to have an extremely high level of initiative, high focus on getting results, excellent follow-up and follow-through, a strong work ethic, and is detail oriented and persistent. She has managed and implemented many projects ranging from controls upgrades in the extrusion process to safety projects throughout the plant. It is important to her to involve and gather input from those impacted by her projects. In addition to her normal duties, she is willing to help others, no matter the task. Through the improvement projects/initiatives she has led, she has made work safer, more efficient and easier for her peers. She has reduced stress and helped lessen the burden on her colleagues by helping them and providing support to them. She is said to be highly dependable and does not rest until the job is done.

Her nominator, Alan Freeman, said, “Her tireless approach to excellence, hard work, compassion and caring for others…exemplify what it means to be an Outstanding Person in manufacturing…She is an example for any of us to live up to.”
