For 22 years, Heidi Shupe has been making a positive impact on her company, from assisting in the development of AutoCad drawing of new and existing tools to leading the site to achieving significantly reduced injuries leading to the company receiving OSHA’s highest honor of VPP STAR status and SVAM’s Excellence in Safety Award. She is said to be tireless, detail oriented, extremely well organized, and never misses a deadline or commitment. Her greatest impact on her fellow employees is in ensuring that they have one of the safest places to work.

Her nominator, Alan Freeman, said, “She does her job because she cares about each and every person working at our plant, whether they are Mitsubishi employees, interns, temps, or contractors. She is compassionate, caring, and selfless when it comes to doing her job and making sure it is done right.”
