Shari Marshall has made a significant impact at Hitachi Energy in just over two years with the organization. She joined the company in December 2023 as an Analyst at the start of the site’s transition to a new ERP system and quickly immersed herself in learning new processes while helping guide the organization through this important operational change. When the team unexpectedly lost a long-term employee in August 2024, Shari stepped forward without hesitation, quickly learning and assuming the additional responsibilities while continuing to excel in her own role.

Since then, Shari has taken full ownership of the site’s Capital process, ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget. She has also become the facility’s subject matter expert on the Bland costing system, including material ledger management, material costing, and discretionary spending. Her attention to detail, strong financial insight, and commitment to improving operational processes have made a measurable difference across the organization. Her impact and leadership were recognized with a well-earned promotion to Project Controller in August 2025.

Shari also brings a strong sense of collaboration and determination to her work with colleagues. She leads with confidence, resilience, and a passion for continuous improvement. By embracing challenges and strengthening key financial and operational systems, she has earned the respect of both her peers and the leadership team.
