Although Shonda Reed is relatively new to the role of Shop Foreman, she has quickly proven herself to be an outstanding leader. Over the course of the last two years, Shonda has demonstrated a remarkable ability to learn and adapt, consistently improving her skills and knowledge of shop operations. Her attention to detail, coupled with her natural leadership ability, has enabled her to effectively manage her team and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

As an honored US Army Veteran, Shonda’s commitment to discipline and structure echoes through her team members and contributes to LBI being one of the area’s premier employers. Her understanding of a well-defined structure and clear roles within the team have helped eliminate confusion, ensures everyone understands their responsibilities and has established and maintains a clear chain of command. She not only emphasizes the importance of personal responsibility and accountability: she also holds the team accountable to their actions and inactions.
