UVa-Wise Abingdon

PURPOSE: The UVa-Wise Abingdon office designs and delivers professional development programs for the employers in the regions of Southwest Virginia, Northeast Tennessee and Eastern Kentucky. Programs may be open enrollment or customized and may be of a technical or soft skill nature. UVa-Wise in Abingdon also coordinates events to promote economic development, bring greater exposure to the region and increase awareness of the Higher Education Center and UVa-Wise.

SERVICE AREA: UVa-Wise Abingdon serves organizations and individuals throughout PDC 1, 2 and 3. We currently host professional development workshop at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center in Abingdon, Virginia and at Crossroads Institute’s Higher Education Center in Galax, Virginia.
